The BedJet requires a Bluetooth connection to pair with the BedJet Smart Remote app. Follow these steps to ensure a successful connection:
1. Check Initial Setup
- Ensure Bluetooth and Location Services are turned ON on your phone.
- When opening the app for the first time, agree to all necessary permissions for Bluetooth and location access.
- Note: Both Android and iOS treat Bluetooth connection data as location data and require location permissions for pairing. We do not use or collect your physical location; this is solely due to app store requirements.
2. Troubleshooting Steps if the BedJet Is Not Found
If the app does not detect the BedJet during pairing, try the following steps:
Perform a Full Reset of the BedJet and App:
- Unplug the BedJet from the wall outlet.
- Uninstall the BedJet Smart Remote App from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Reinstall the BedJet Smart Remote App.
- Plug in and power on the BedJet.
- Ensure you connect through the BedJet Smart Remote App, not your device's Bluetooth menu.
Additional Bluetooth Troubleshooting:
- Check Proximity: Ensure your phone is within 10 feet of the BedJet during pairing. Bluetooth connections can fail at greater distances.
- Avoid Interference: Turn off other Bluetooth devices in the area that may interfere with the connection.
- Disconnect from previously paired devices: If the BedJet is currently paired with another device (phone or tablet), disconnect it from that device by closing the app before pairing with your phone.
- The BedJet can only connect to one device at a time.
- Check for App and System Updates: Ensure your phone's operating system and the BedJet app are fully up to date.
