My BedJet remote is going through batteries too quicklyUpdated 2 months ago

You can expect on average 9-12 months for a set of AA batteries on your BedJet 3 Smart Remote. If your BedJet 3 Smart Remote is going through batteries quicker than expected, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Replace both batteries with new AA batteries
  • Ensure both batteries are in the correct position
  • Ensure the remote battery compartment is securely holding the batteries

Try lowering the sensitivity of the Shake and Wake function:

  • Select “Menu” on the remote
  • Select “Remote Setup”
  • Select “Shake & Wake”
    • To turn off
      • Select “Disabled”
  • To adjust sensitivity level
    • Select desired level (1-6)

Try decreasing the auto timeout for the remote LCD screen/backlighting:

  • Select “Menu” on the remote
  • Select “Remote Setup”
  • Select “Screen Timeout”
  • Select the screen timeout you desire from the list
