Vet BedJet Model VET‐800NA HEPA Filter OverviewUpdated 2 months ago

The BedJet VET requires minimal maintenance to keep it operating at its best. The only regular care needed is periodic replacement of the HEPA filter and regular cleaning of the washable HEPA prefilter.

HEPA Prefilter Cleaning

The black foam prefilter is washable and sits on top of the HEPA filter. Its purpose is to extend the lifespan of the HEPA filter.

  • Clean the washable prefilter every 2 months, or sooner if it appears visibly dirty.
  • To clean, remove the black foam prefilter from the HEPA filter. It attaches to the front of the HEPA filter with Velcro.
  • Rinse the prefilter under running water, then allow it to dry completely.
  • Once dry, reinstall the prefilter and gently push the grill until it snaps back in place.
  • Refer to the images below for reference

HEPA Filter Replacement

The HEPA filter should be replaced every 400 hours of use or approximately every 6 months under regular use conditions.

  • The BedJet VET has a built-in HEPA filter service clock.
  • After 400 hours of operation, the BedJet VET will sound an audible alert reminding you to replace the HEPA filter.
