The BedJet VET requires minimal maintenance to keep it operating at its best. The only regular care needed is periodic replacement of the HEPA filter and regular cleaning of the washable HEPA prefilter.

HEPA Pre-Filter Cleaning

To maintain optimal airflow and performance, clean the HEPA lifetime washable pre-filter every 2 months or whenever it appears visually dirty.

How to Clean the HEPA Pre-Filter:

1. Press the round BedJet logo on top of the BedJet unit to release the air intake grill.
2. Pull the air intake grill open to access the filter.
3. Locate the black mesh pre-filter attached to the front of the HEPA filter with Velcro.
4. Remove the black mesh pre-filter and rinse it under running water.
5. Allow the pre-filter to fully dry before reinstalling.
6. Reattach the pre-filter to the HEPA filter using Velcro.
7. Close the air intake grill until it snaps back into place.

HEPA Filter Replacement

The HEPA filter should be replaced every 400 hours of operation or approximately every 6 months under regular use.

HEPA Filter Service Notification:

• The BedJet contains a HEPA filter service clock to track usage.
• After 400 hours, the BedJet will trigger a service alarm notification, indicated by:
  • A rolling green LED on the airflow indicator.
  • A beeping sound when the unit is in standby mode.

Resetting the HEPA Filter Service Alarm

After replacing the HEPA filter, reset the service clock to clear the notification.

Manual Reset Using the Remote:

1. Turn off the BedJet.
2. Press and hold the hourglass button on the remote control.
3. While holding the hourglass button, turn the BedJet back on.
4. Continue holding the hourglass button until the BedJet power light indicator turns on.
5. The HEPA filter service alarm is now reset for another 400 hours.

Reset via Bluetooth App:

• The HEPA filter service alarm can also be reset through the BedJet Bluetooth App under the filter maintenance settings.
