Lowering PowerLayer During a Power OutageUpdated 6 months ago

In the event of a prolonged power outage, you can still lower your PowerLayer bed frame to the flat position using backup battery power. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to safely lower the PowerLayer using 9V batteries and the Battery Backup Cable.  

Follow these steps to ensure safe use in emergency situations.

• Connect 3x 9V batteries (not included) to the Battery Backup Cable. 
• Attach Battery Backup Cable to PowerLayer power cable. 
• Lower the PowerLayer. Press the DOWN▼ or FLAT button once per second continuously until the PowerLayer is fully flat.

WARNING: Backup Power batteries do not provide enough power for lift use. Use only for lowering bed frames in an emergency.
