Is the Cloud Sheet required?Updated a year ago

Although not required, the Cloud Sheet gives you much more even air distribution in the bed than using the BedJet with your own sheets. While many users are happy using their BedJet to just flow air through their regular sheets, approximately 70% of BedJet owners use a Cloud Sheet. Plus, you know that cool crisp feeling you get for the first 30 seconds you get into bed of the sheets against your skin? Only the Cloud Sheet can give you that feeling ALL NIGHT! The Cloud Sheet is also a required part of any Dual Zone setup to enable separation of the two halves of the bed into independent cooling/heating zones — One Cloud Sheet is included with all Dual Zone System purchases.

The BedJet can be used either with our Cloud Sheet or with your existing sheets/bedding if preferred. If using your own sheets, the air flow will be brought in underneath the top layer of bedding and above the fitted sheet directly into your sleeping area. We do suggest a min thread count for sheets of 250 to ensure the sheets hold in enough air flow for the optimal effect.

The Cloud Sheet is a specially engineered double layer sheet with interior air flow channels and baffles that the BedJet air plugs into. You can imagine it’s like a specially sewn down comforter shell but with no down filling inside. The BedJet air nozzle plugs into the Cloud Sheet [at bottom or bottom sides of the bed] and then diffuses down onto your body. It bypasses most of the air from your feet to your upper body where it’s most useful.

When the BedJet is off, the Cloud Sheet looks just like a high quality top sheet. When the BedJet is on, it puffs up and looks like a puffy down comforter, but it’s only full of air. The Cloud Sheet replaces your top sheet and should lie directly on your body. It’s made from super soft 100% cotton and feels like a 5-star hotel grade bed linen – it feels great on your skin. Whatever your normal bedding is right now; comforters, blankets, quilts, etc. all of it will go on top of the Cloud Sheet. It actually needs a little weight on it to work properly.

The Cloud Sheet is also covered by our 60-day Risk-Free Return Guarantee and can be returned for a full refund even if opened and used!
