How much power does the BedJet use?Updated 4 months ago

The power usage of your BedJet depends on the mode, temperature, and fan speed selected. Below is a breakdown of power consumption for both the BedJet 3 and BedJet Mini models:

BedJet 3 Power Consumption

  • Cooling Mode: 9-40 watts
  • Regular Heat Mode: 100-1100 watts
  • Turbo Heat Mode: 1500 watts (max 10 minutes)
  • Turbo/Heat with Low Power Mode ON: 100-800 watts
  • Standby Power Consumption: 1.5 watts

The Turbo Heat mode (1500 watts) runs for a maximum of 10 minutes but typically needs less than five minutes to bring your bedding to that just-out-of-the-dryer warmth—no other product can do that!

If you’re concerned about power consumption, you can enable Low Power Mode, which limits Heat and Turbo modes to 800 watts max. This setting ensures that the unit remains within the limits of a typical 15A bedroom AC circuit.

For Dual Zone Systems (two BedJets), always keep Low Power Mode ON for both units..

BedJet 3 Mini Power Consumption

  • Turbo Heat Mode: 775 watts max
  • Regular Heat Mode: 150-550 watts
  • Cooling Mode: 10-30 watts max
  • Standby Power Consumption: 1.5 watts

How Much Does It Cost to Run?

On average, running the BedJet 3 in cooling mode every night costs less than $1 per month, and using heating mode costs just a few dollars per month, depending on usage.
