Does BedJet work with weighted blankets?Updated a year ago
While our testing with weighted blankets has been limited, we’ve extensively tested the BedJet with multiple layers of down comforters, and it has performed without any issues. Many BedJet owners successfully use their devices with various weighted blankets, and it doesn’t impact the air flow or distribution.
Here are some helpful tips from our experienced BedJet owners:
- Blanket Placement: Ensure that the weighted blanket covers the BedJet nozzle. Placing it in front of the nozzle can obstruct the airflow into the bed.
- Bed Entry Sequence: Try getting into bed before starting the BedJet. This can lift the sheets and bedding slightly, assisting with better air dispersion across the bed.
- Adjust Fan Speed: Depending on the weight of your blanket, consider adjusting the BedJet’s fan speed slightly higher to compensate for the added weight.
- Weighted Blanket Range: We’ve found that weighted blankets in the range of 12-15 lbs. tend to work best. However, some owners have reported success even with heavier blankets.
Remember, personalized comfort is key, so feel free to experiment and find the settings that work best for you!
