Cooling Felt Only on Your Feet and Not on Your Body?Updated 2 months ago

If you notice that cooling from your BedJet is concentrated only on your feet and not distributing across your body, the issue is likely due to your bedding setup. Follow these guidelines to improve your cooling experience:

1. Use Compatible Bedding
Your BedJet requires a good quality top sheet or comforter—ideally with a thread count of 250 or higher—to effectively trap and circulate cooling air throughout the bed. Low-quality, loose-knit, or overly breathable sheets will allow airflow to escape prematurely.

2. Check Your Bedding Performance
When your BedJet is at 100% airflow, you should see your bedding slightly ballooning above the bed and feel airflow exiting at the top near your torso. If this isn't happening, your top sheet or comforter may be too breathable or have too low of a thread count.

3. Avoid Certain Sheet Types
Sheets that typically do not perform well with the BedJet include:

  • Performance "cooling" sheets

  • Highly breathable, loose-knit sheets

  • Jersey knit sheets

  • Blankets used without any top sheet

4. Try the Cloud Sheet or a different top sheet layer
The best solutions are either changing your bedding to a higher-quality, tighter-weave top sheet or comforter or utilizing the Cloud Sheet, specifically designed to optimize airflow distribution and enhance your cooling experience.
